Thank you for your prayers and encouragement. I treasure every note I get after I send the prayer letter to you and read them on every Monday planning meeting. It is very important to us.

We had quite a busy month of February.
It has started with the meeting with one of the professors of the local University and the Chairman of the student committee. We have discussed the possibilities of work with the students of that University in the pro-life direction. They offered us to hold on-line pre-abortion counseling and to meet with students with our programs ("You are unique", "The consequences of abortion", "Cohabitation: cons and pros" …)

The first months of the new 2011 has passed. The time indeed flies. January is always a busy month for everybody in Ukraine because of many holidays and it was busy for the ministry of the LCC. As you know one of the main purposes of our ministry is sharing the Gospel of grace with our clients, former clients who we stay in touch with. For this very reason the volunteers of the Life Care Center prepared two Christmas parties for the former clients of School for Moms and their children. We called the Christmas for adults « Baby Changes everything» and discussed how the birth of our Savior changes everything including the lives of his earthly parents, shepherds and wise men, later his disciples and our lives. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your families!!

Today is the last day of the year and for us Ukrainians it is a big holiday. When during the Soviet times the holiday of Christmas was neglected and diminished the New Year’s Eve became its cheap substitute. People cook a lot of good food, open presents and stay up all night long with the family and friends celebrating the coming of the New Year. During the celebration they sometimes talk about the past year about what they could accomplish in it and wish what they would like to do and what changes they would like to happen in the coming year. Today looking back at the year of 2010 I can say that for the Life Care Center it has become a year of sharing our experience and knowledge with many others here in Izmail and other cities of Ukraine.

Hello dear friends and supporters of the Life Care Center of Izmail Ukraine.

I continue to thank God for you and your prayers for our ministry. I also thank God for those who so generously give to support it financially.

We just had the meeting of the Committee of Trustees on the 23 of September. We are happy to welcome the practicing OB Gyn Dr.Love on our board. He is a great asset in our work because we can consult any professionals questions with him and even do things together when he comes to Ukraine. Like this time he spoke to the students of one of the local Universities about the reproductive health and also met with pregnant clients of the LCC and had a time of questions and answers with them.
