Katerina Oliynyk, Yana Pasichna, and Natalya Gorbarenko took part in the 2-day training course, with practical elements, "Crisis Pregnancy Counseling". It took place in Izmail on June, 30th through July, 3rd, 2010. The training was done by qualified counselors Snezhana Popova, Natalya Kolomiets, Angela Berezynska. Izmail Life Care Center is a Christian cultural and educational organization. It has been blessing the community for 6 years and is officially approved by the Department of Jurisdiction in Izmail.

The theoretical part of the course was based on the principles of consequence and follow up and is blended with practice. The volunteers acquired practical skills of emphatic and interpretive listening. They were also introduced to the nature of crisis and methods of psychological help. They took part in counseling situations modeled by teachers. By the end of training, the participants received certificates and necessary literature on the topic.
