On the 29-30th of October in Khmelnitsky the Pro-life seminar was held. The representatives of different Christian denominations got together in the cozy conference room of hotel "Tsentralny" to discuss very important topics concerning the value and sanctity of human life. The first speaker, the gynecologist who doesn't do or offer abortion in her practice shared the information about the types of abortions performed in Ukraine, stats and the consequences of abortion. She has also talked about the impact abortion has on physical, emotional and spiritual health of Ukrainian family.

The visitors from Izmail Life Care Center reported about the pro-life work they are doing in their town of Izmail. The listeners heard about two programs the volunteers of the Life Care Center use in the work with schoolchildren and students on abstinence, shared about the Christian program for pregnant parents "School for moms". The workers of the Life Care center can also train the volunteers in counseling of a crisis pregnancy.

There were also some ladies from Kharkov who work in the Center which helps pregnant women. They shared how they work with those who go through post abortion syndrome and how it is important to address such issues.

We hope that soon a strong pro-life movement will develop in Khmelnitsky and our society will be encouraged to value the human life and young generation will make wise choices about their future and the future of their unborn children.
