On the 22-23 of May in the building of Christian Clinic in Belgorod-Dnestrovski two day training for volunteers of crisis pregnancy was held by staff members of Izmail Lfe Care Center. Volunteers from Reni and Izmail got together a hospitable and cozy place where a lot of material was covered in a short period of time. We managed to go through 12 lessons on counseling. These are some of them:

Biblical foundations for the sanctity of human life. The nature of the crisis.
Interpersonal communication and ability to care through active listening and empathy.

The future volunteers also were able to find out about the different types of activities in the Center, learned how to talk on the phone with abortion minded women, to build the relationships with the clients and talk to the ones with positive and negative results of the pregnancy test.

We hope that the knowledge they acquired through the training will help the volunteers to persuade the clients to choose life.
