Dear friends and supporters of the Life Care Center.

The first months of the new 2011 has passed. The time indeed flies. January is always a busy month for everybody in Ukraine because of many holidays and it was busy for the ministry of the LCC. As you know one of the main purposes of our ministry is sharing the Gospel of grace with our clients, former clients who we stay in touch with. For this very reason the volunteers of the Life Care Center prepared two Christmas parties for the former clients of School for Moms and their children. We called the Christmas for adults « Baby Changes everything» and discussed how the birth of our Savior changes everything including the lives of his earthly parents, shepherds and wise men, later his disciples and our lives. The Christmas celebration for children was held on the 2d of January. Children had some teaching fun time together, demonstrated their costumes and had a birthday cake. Read more.

Right now we are going through the legal preparation for the essay contest among the seniors of local high schools «Why human life is valuable». Natasha had to get the permission for that at the local Department of Education and right now she is going from school to school talking to children about the contest.

Once a month a group of 8-10 people (our friends and former clients) get together to study the Bible on the topic of anger.

We have published a work report of the LCC in the local newspaper and are going to go to the city authorities with the request to allow us to put up DVD players in the abortion and women clinics.

Last week the usual talk show for the students «I am in love what's next» was held in one of the technical schools. We discussed questions of love and passion and if the absence of sex before marriage is a real thing.

As well as conducting all those events the usual work is going on too. The volunteers work at schools, teaching abstinence programs, group of pregnant women is finishing their classes in school for moms.

• Please pray that the authorities of the city will support our idea.
